Kepler-1639 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1639 is a star located 3360 light-years away. It is 3.16 billion years old, has a mass of 1.12 solar masses, a radius of 1.18 solar radii, and a temperature of 6150 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's. The star hosts one known planet.

That planet, Kepler-1639 b, was discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passing in front of its star from our viewpoint causes a small dip in observed brightness. It is a Neptune-like planet, a size class that reaches four times Earth's radius. Kepler-1639 b has a radius of 2.58 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and an orbital period of 9.88 days.
