Kepler-1530 is a star located 1600 light-years away, and three planets have been found orbiting it. The star is 4.27 billion years old, with a mass of 0.92 solar masses and a radius of 0.88 solar radii. Its reported temperature is 5480 K.
All three planets were detected by the transit method, which catches a planet passing in front of its star from our viewpoint and dimming its light slightly. Kepler-1530 b and Kepler-1530 c are both Super-Earths discovered in 2016. Kepler-1530 b orbits every 2.59 days and has a radius of 1.64 Earth radii, while Kepler-1530 c orbits every 5.32 days with a radius of 1.65 Earth radii. Both are larger than Earth. Among the listed planets, Kepler-1530 b has the shortest year and the smallest radius, while Kepler-1530 c has the second-shortest year and the second-smallest radius.
Kepler-1530 d is a Neptune-like world discovered in 2021. It completes an orbit in 9.21 days and has a radius of 3.28 Earth radii, making it larger than Earth and the largest and longest-period planet among the three. Its greater size places it in a different class from its siblings, though all three circle the same star.
