Kepler-1361 and Its Sub-Earth Planet

Kepler-1361 is a star 1270 light-years away with one known planet, Kepler-1361 b. The host star is 4.9 billion years old, has a mass of 0.83 solar masses, a radius of 0.79 solar radii, and a temperature of 5130 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

Kepler-1361 b is a Sub-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. The planet completes an orbit every 3.58 days and has a radius of 0.86 Earth radii. Its reported radius estimate is smaller than Earth's.
