DMPP-1 is a star located 204 light-years away with four known planets. The star is a main-sequence dwarf of spectral type F8 V, meaning it belongs to the F temperature class, which is hotter than the Sun's G-type class. Its reported mass is 1.21 solar masses, its radius is 1.26 solar radii, and its temperature is 6200 K. All three of these estimates are larger or hotter than the corresponding values for the Sun. The star's age is 2.01 billion years.
All four planets were discovered in 2019 using the radial velocity method, which measures the wobble a planet's gravity induces in its star's motion; repeated wobbles reveal the planet and its orbital period. Each planet's minimum mass is a lower bound on its true mass, and each is larger than Earth's.
DMPP-1 d has the shortest year among the listed planets, an orbital period of 3.14 days, and a minimum mass of 4.72 Earth masses. DMPP-1 e has the second-shortest year at 5.52 days and the smallest minimum mass at 4.13 Earth masses. DMPP-1 c has the second-longest year at 10 days and a minimum mass of 10.9 Earth masses. DMPP-1 b has the longest year at 17.8 days and the largest minimum mass at 16.8 Earth masses.
