WASP-75

WASP-75 is a star located 959 light-years away. It is a main-sequence dwarf of spectral type F9, making it hotter and more massive than the Sun. Its mass is 1.14 solar masses, its radius is 1.26 solar radii, and its surface temperature is 6100 K. The star is estimated to be 3.5 billion years old.

One known planet orbits WASP-75. WASP-75 b is a Jupiter-like planet discovered in 2013 by the transit method. Its mass is 340 Earth masses, and its radius is 14.2 Earth radii. It completes an orbit in 2.48 days. Both its mass and radius estimates are larger than Earth's, and its mass estimate is roughly 1.07 times Jupiter's mass. Its mean density is 0.65 g/cm³, which is 0.118 times Earth's.
