WASP-123 is a G-type star located 646 light-years away, with a reported mass of 1.17 solar masses and a radius of 1.29 solar radii, both larger than the Sun's corresponding values. Its temperature is 5740 K and its age is 6.9 billion years. One planet is known to orbit this host.
That planet, WASP-123 b, was discovered by the transit method in 2016. It is a Jupiter-like planet, a size class defined by a radius exceeding four times Earth's, and its reported radius of 15.1 Earth radii is indeed larger than Earth's. No orbital period is reported for WASP-123 b.
