TOI-5515 b: A Neptune-like World Around a Cooler, Smaller Star

TOI-5515 is a star 442 light-years away with 0.963 solar masses, 0.836 solar radii, and a temperature of 5490 K. Its radius is smaller than the Sun's, and it is cooler than the Sun. One planet orbits this host.

That planet, TOI-5515 b, is Neptune-like. It was discovered by transit in 2026, when it passed in front of its star from our viewpoint and caused a small dip in observed brightness. Repeated dips helped establish its orbital period of 8.59 days.

TOI-5515 b has a radius of 2.65 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Its size classification is based on radius alone, and the planet completes one orbit in 8.59 days.
