TOI-3664 and Its Jupiter-Like Planet

TOI-3664 is a star 1520 light-years away with a mass of 0.98 solar masses, a radius of 1.11 solar radii, a temperature of 5590 K, and an age of 9 billion years. Its reported radius estimate is larger than the Sun's, while its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this host.

That planet is TOI-3664 b, a Jupiter-like world discovered by the transit method in 2026. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. TOI-3664 b has a mass of 114 Earth masses, a radius of 13.7 Earth radii, and an orbital period of 3.3 days. Its reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's, and its reported mass estimate is also larger than Earth's. Its mean density is 0.245 g/cm³, 0.0445 times Earth's.
