TOI-1860 is a Sun-like G-type dwarf star located 150 light-years away. It has a mass of 0.99 solar masses, a radius of 0.94 solar radii, and a temperature of 5750 K, and its reported radius estimate is smaller than the Sun's. Its age is 0.133 billion years. One planet orbits this host.
That planet, TOI-1860 b, was discovered in 2022 by the transit method, which detects the small dip in a star's brightness as a planet passes in front of it from our viewpoint. It completes an orbit every 1.07 days. Its radius of 1.31 Earth radii is larger than Earth's, placing it within the Earth-like size class, which covers planets up to 1.5 times Earth's radius.
