TOI-1846 b: A Super-Earth Orbiting a Small Cool Star

TOI-1846 is a star 154 light-years away with a mass of 0.418 solar masses and a radius of 0.397 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's. Its temperature of 3570 K is cooler than the Sun's. The star is 7.2 billion years old. One planet orbits this host.

That planet is TOI-1846 b, a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2025. It orbits every 3.93 days at a radius of 1.79 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness.
