TOI-1695 b: A Super-Earth

TOI-1695 is an M1 V star located 147 light-years away, a small, cool red dwarf with a reported mass of 0.513 solar masses and a radius of 0.515 solar radii. Its reported temperature is 3690 K, cooler than the Sun's. One planet orbits this host, named TOI-1695 b.

TOI-1695 b is a Super-Earth discovered by the transit method in 2022, when the planet passed in front of its star from our viewpoint and caused a small dip in observed brightness. The planet's radius is 1.9 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and it completes an orbit in 3.13 days. Its mass is 6.36 Earth masses, also larger than Earth's, and its mean density is 5.11 g/cm³, 0.927 times Earth's.

At 1.9 Earth radii, TOI-1695 b is a Super-Earth, a size class that reaches up to 2.5 times Earth's radius.
