TOI-1467 and Its Super-Earth

TOI-1467 is a star 122 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 13.4 billion years old, has a mass of 0.452 solar masses, a radius of 0.457 solar radii, and a temperature of 3780 K. Its mass and radius are smaller than the Sun's, and it is cooler than the Sun.

The planet TOI-1467 b is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2024. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. TOI-1467 b orbits every 5.97 days and has a radius of 1.92 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's. In planet size classes, a Super-Earth reaches 2.5 times Earth's radius, so TOI-1467 b's radius places it within this class.
