TOI-1466 and Its Super-Earth

TOI-1466 is a star 282 light-years away with a mass of 0.66 solar masses, a radius of 0.75 solar radii, and a temperature of 4200 K - all smaller or cooler than the Sun. One planet is known to orbit it.

TOI-1466 b is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2026. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. The planet completes an orbit every 1.87 days and has a radius of 2.47 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. As a Super-Earth, its size class extends up to 2.5 times Earth's radius.
