Kepler-914 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-914 is a star 2460 light-years away with a single known planet. The host star is 3.98 billion years old and has a mass of 1.1 solar masses and a radius of 1.15 solar radii, both larger than the Sun's. Its temperature of 5880 K is hotter than the Sun's.

The one planet in this system is Kepler-914 b, an Earth-like world discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-914 b orbits every 4.41 days and has a radius of 1.38 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
