Kepler-75 and Its Jupiter-Like Planet

Kepler-75 is a K0 V star located 2720 light-years away, with a mass of 0.91 solar masses, a radius of 0.89 solar radii, and a temperature of 5200 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler. The star is 6.2 billion years old, and one planet orbits it.

That planet, Kepler-75 b, is a Jupiter-like world discovered by transit in 2013. It has a mass of 3210 Earth masses and a radius of 11.8 Earth radii, both larger than Earth's, and orbits every 8.88 days. Its mean density is 10.8 g/cm³, 1.97 times Earth's.
