Kepler-67 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-67 is a G9 V star located 3690 light-years away. This host has one planet. The star is a main-sequence dwarf with a mass of 0.865 solar masses, a radius of 0.778 solar radii, and a temperature of 5330 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. Kepler-67 is 1 billion years old.

The system's only known planet is Kepler-67 b, a Neptune-like world discovered by the transit method in 2013. It orbits its star every 15.7 days and has a radius of 2.94 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's. Its radius places it within the size class of Neptune-like planets, which reach up to 4 times Earth's radius.
