Kepler-652 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-652 is a star 1290 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 1.48 billion years old and has a mass of 0.97 solar masses, a radius of 0.88 solar radii, and a temperature of 5490 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-652 b is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-652 b orbits every 4.18 days and has a radius of 2.49 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. A Super-Earth reaches 2.5 times Earth's radius.
