Kepler-430 is a star located 2990 light-years away. The star is estimated to be 5.13 billion years old, with a mass of 1.08 solar masses, a radius of 1.21 solar radii, and a temperature of 5920 K. Its mass and radius are larger than the Sun's, and its temperature is hotter than the Sun's.
Two planets are known to orbit Kepler-430. Both were discovered in 2015 by the transit method, in which a planet passing in front of its star from our viewpoint causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-430 b is Neptune-like, with a radius of 3.25 Earth radii and an orbital period of 36 days. Kepler-430 c is a Super-Earth with a radius of 1.75 Earth radii and an orbital period of 111 days. Both planets are larger in radius than Earth.
Among the listed planets, Kepler-430 b has the shortest year and the largest radius, while Kepler-430 c has the longest year and the smallest radius.
