Kepler-368 is a star located 2510 light-years away, with two planets in orbit around it. The star is 10.5 billion years old and has a mass of 0.97 solar masses, a radius of 1.33 solar radii, and a temperature of 5560 K. Its reported radius estimate is larger than the Sun's, while its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.
Both planets were discovered by transit in 2014, the method in which a planet passing in front of its star from our viewpoint causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-368 b and Kepler-368 c are both Neptune-like, a size class that reaches 4 times Earth's radius. Kepler-368 b has an orbital period of 26.8 days and a radius of 3.26 Earth radii, while Kepler-368 c has an orbital period of 72.4 days and a radius of 3.88 Earth radii. Among the listed planets, Kepler-368 b has the shortest year and the smallest radius by reported estimates, and Kepler-368 c has the longest year and the largest radius by reported estimates. Each planet's reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's.
