Kepler-344 is a star located 3270 light-years away, and two planets have been found orbiting it. The star is 4.68 billion years old and has a mass of 0.93 solar masses, a radius of 0.9 solar radii, and a temperature of 5540 K. Its reported mass estimate is smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.
Both planets were discovered by transit in 2014, a method in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Repeated dips help establish orbital periods, the time each planet takes to complete one orbit.
Kepler-344 b is Neptune-like and completes an orbit in 22 days. Its radius is 2.61 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Kepler-344 c is also Neptune-like and has an orbital period of 126 days, with a radius of 2.95 Earth radii, also larger than Earth's. Among the listed planets, Kepler-344 b has the shortest year and the smallest radius, while Kepler-344 c has the longest year and the largest radius.
