Kepler-1912 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-1912 is a single-star system 969 light-years away, and its one known planet orbits the star. The host star has a mass of 1 solar masses, a radius of 0.989 solar radii, and a temperature of 5640 K, which is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet, Kepler-1912 b, was found by transit in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Repeated dips help establish orbital periods. Kepler-1912 b completes an orbit every 6.06 days. Its radius is 1.36 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and its Earth-like classification places it within 1.5 times Earth's radius.
