Kepler-1892 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1892 is a star 2780 light-years away with a single known planet in orbit. The host star has a reported mass estimate of 0.849 solar masses and a reported radius estimate of 0.758 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's. Its reported temperature of 5380 K is cooler than the Sun's.

The one known planet, Kepler-1892 b, is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1892 b orbits every 6.33 days, and its reported radius estimate of 1.84 Earth radii is larger than Earth's.
