Kepler-1883 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1883 is a star located 4490 light-years away, with a mass of 1.09 solar masses and a radius of 1.02 solar radii. Its reported temperature is 6190 K, hotter than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this host.

That planet, Kepler-1883 b, is Neptune-like, a size class that reaches up to four times Earth's radius. Its radius is 3.25 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and it completes an orbit every 103 days. It was discovered by transit, the small dip in a star's brightness when a planet passes in front of it from our viewpoint.
