Kepler-1833 and Its Earth-like Planet

Kepler-1833 is a star located 1930 light-years away, and it hosts one known planet. The star has a reported mass estimate of 1.15 solar masses and a reported radius estimate of 1.48 solar radii, both larger than the Sun's corresponding values. Its reported temperature is 6100 K, hotter than the Sun's.

The planet, Kepler-1833 b, was discovered in 2021 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. This world is classified as Earth-like, a size class for planets within 1.5 times Earth's radius. Kepler-1833 b has a radius of 1.3 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and completes an orbit every 6.89 days.
