Kepler-1535 and Its Neptune-like Planet

Kepler-1535 is a star located 2930 light-years away, and it hosts one known planet. The host star is estimated to be 3.47 billion years old, with a mass of 1.08 solar masses, a radius of 1.11 solar radii, and a temperature of 6020 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

The system's only known planet is Kepler-1535 b, a Neptune-like world discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1535 b has an orbital period of 139 days and a radius of 2.55 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's.
