Kepler-1485 and Its Earth-like Planet

Kepler-1485 is a star 2010 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 2.51 billion years old and has a mass of 1.11 solar masses, a radius of 1.12 solar radii, and a temperature of 6090 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1485 b was discovered in 2016 by the transit method, which identifies a planet when it passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness; repeated dips help establish orbital periods. Kepler-1485 b is classified as Earth-like, a size class for planets within 1.5 times Earth's radius. It has an orbital period of 19.9 days and a radius of 1.47 Earth radii, and its reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's.
