Kepler-144: A Star and Two Earth-Like Worlds

Kepler-144 is a star located 1260 light-years from Earth. It is 3.02 billion years old, has a mass of 1.24 solar masses, a radius of 1.47 solar radii, and a temperature of 6270 K. Its mass and radius are larger than the Sun's, and it is hotter than the Sun. Two planets are known to orbit this host: Kepler-144 b and Kepler-144 c, both discovered by transit in 2014.

Both planets are classified as Earth-like. Kepler-144 b has an orbital period of 5.89 days and a radius of 1.33 Earth radii, while Kepler-144 c has an orbital period of 10.1 days and a radius of 1.35 Earth radii. Their radii are larger than Earth's. Among the listed planets, Kepler-144 b has the shortest year and the smallest radius, while Kepler-144 c has the longest year and the largest radius.
