Kepler-1154 is a star 4760 light-years away, and two planets are known to orbit it. The host star is 2.29 billion years old and has a mass of 1.26 solar masses, a radius of 1.43 solar radii, and a temperature of 6330 K. Its mass, radius, and temperature are all larger or hotter than the Sun's.
Both planets were discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passing in front of its star slightly dims the observed brightness. Kepler-1154 b and Kepler-1154 c are both Super-Earths, a size class reaching 2.5 times Earth's radius. Kepler-1154 b has a radius of 2.34 Earth radii and an orbital period of 5.19 days, the shortest year among the listed planets. Its radius is larger than Earth's and the smallest of the pair. Kepler-1154 c has a radius of 2.36 Earth radii and an orbital period of 8.46 days, the longest year among the listed planets. Its radius is also larger than Earth's and the largest of the pair.
