Kepler-1137 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1137 is a star 3010 light-years away with one planet orbiting it. The host star is 1.58 billion years old and has a mass of 1.5 solar masses, a radius of 1.84 solar radii, and a temperature of 6810 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1137 b is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1137 b orbits every 23.9 days, and its radius of 2.2 Earth radii is larger than Earth's.
