Kepler-1749 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1749 is a star 875 light-years away with one known planet. The host star has a reported mass of 0.66 solar masses, a radius of 0.621 solar radii, and a temperature of 4240 K. Its mass and radius are smaller than the Sun's, and it is cooler than the Sun.

The single planet, Kepler-1749 b, is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2021. During a transit, a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1749 b has an orbital period of 14.5 days and a radius of 1.61 Earth radii, making it larger than Earth.
