Kepler-1478 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1478 is a star located 6020 light-years away, and it hosts one known planet. The star is 3.98 billion years old and has a mass of 1.04 solar masses, a radius of 1.06 solar radii, and a temperature of 5900 K.

The planet is Kepler-1478 b, a Super-Earth discovered by the transit method in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1478 b orbits its star every 26.1 days and has a radius of 1.73 Earth radii. Its reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's.
