K2-329 is a star 761 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 1.8 billion years old, has a mass of 0.901 solar masses and a radius of 0.822 solar radii, and a temperature of 5280 K. Its mass and radius are smaller than the Sun's, and it is cooler than the Sun.
The planet K2-329 b was discovered by transit in 2020. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. K2-329 b is Jupiter-like, a size class for planets exceeding 4 times Earth's radius. It has a radius of 8.68 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and a mass of 82.6 Earth masses, also larger than Earth's. Its orbital period is 12.5 days. Its mean density is 0.697 g/cm³, 0.127 times Earth's.
