K2-32 is a G9 V star located 514 light-years away, and four planets have been found orbiting it. The star is a main-sequence dwarf somewhat smaller and cooler than the Sun. Its mass is 0.856 solar masses and its radius is 0.845 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's. Its temperature is 5280 K, cooler than the Sun's, and its age is 7.9 billion years.
All four planets were discovered by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Three were announced in 2016 and one in 2019.
K2-32 b is Jupiter-like, with a radius of 5.3 Earth radii - larger than Earth's - and a mass of 15 Earth masses, also larger than Earth's. Its orbital period is 8.99 days, the second-shortest among the listed planets, and its mean density is 0.555 g/cm³, 0.101 times Earth's.
K2-32 c is Neptune-like, with a radius of 3.13 Earth radii and a mass of 8.1 Earth masses, both larger than Earth's. Its orbital period is 20.7 days, the second-longest among the listed planets, and its mean density is 1.45 g/cm³, 0.263 times Earth's.
K2-32 d is also Neptune-like, with a radius of 3.48 Earth radii and a mass of 6.7 Earth masses, both larger than Earth's. Its orbital period is 31.7 days, the longest among the listed planets, and its mean density is 0.873 g/cm³, 0.158 times Earth's.
K2-32 e is Earth-like, with a radius of 1.21 Earth radii - larger than Earth's - and a mass of 2.1 Earth masses. Its orbital period is 4.35 days, the shortest among the listed planets, and its mean density is 6.5 g/cm³, 1.18 times Earth's.
