HD 206893 and Its Two Imaged Planets

HD 206893 is a star 133 light-years away with two known planets. The host is an F5 V star, a main-sequence F-type dwarf, with a reported mass of 1.36 solar masses, a radius of 1.31 solar radii, and a temperature of 6550 K. Each of those estimates is larger or hotter than the corresponding value for the Sun.

Both planets were found by imaging: HD 206893 b in 2021 and HD 206893 c in 2022. HD 206893 b has a reported mass of 6200 Earth masses, roughly 19.5 times Jupiter's mass, and an orbital period of 11100 days. HD 206893 c has a reported mass of 3530 Earth masses, roughly 11.1 times Jupiter's mass, and an orbital period of 2290 days. Each planet's mass is larger than Earth's. Among the listed planets, HD 206893 b has the longest year and the largest reported mass, while HD 206893 c has the shortest year and the smallest reported mass.
