HD 204313 is a G5 V star 156 light-years away, a Sun-like dwarf with a reported mass of 1.05 solar masses, a temperature of 5770 K, and an age of 3.38 billion years. Its mass estimate is larger than the Sun's. Three planets are known to orbit it.
All three were found by the radial velocity method, which detects the wobble a planet's gravity induces in its star's motion. HD 204313 b, discovered in 2010, has a reported mass estimate of 1470 Earth masses and an orbital period of 2040 days. HD 204313 c, found in 2015, has a minimum mass of 17.2 Earth masses and an orbital period of 35 days. HD 204313 e, announced in 2022, has a reported mass estimate of 4870 Earth masses and an orbital period of 7330 days.
The comparisons place these worlds in context. HD 204313 b's reported mass estimate is roughly 4.62 times Jupiter's mass, while HD 204313 e's is roughly 15.3 times Jupiter's mass. HD 204313 c's minimum mass exceeds Earth's, and both b and e are more massive than Earth as well. Among the listed planets, c has the shortest year and e the longest, with b holding the second-shortest year.
