USco1621 A is an M2.5 V star located 450 light-years away. This small, cool red dwarf has a reported mass of 0.36 solar masses, which is smaller than the Sun's, and a temperature of 3460 K, which is cooler than the Sun's. Its age is 0.0075 billion years, making it a very young star. One planet is known to orbit this host.
