TOI-6054 is a star 259 light-years from Earth. Its reported mass is 1.11 solar masses, its radius is 1.66 solar radii, and its temperature is 6050 K, so it is more massive, larger, and hotter than the Sun. It is 6 billion years old. Two planets are known to orbit it.
Both planets were found by transit, the method in which a planet crosses in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Repeated dips help establish orbital periods.
TOI-6054.01 is a Neptune-like planet discovered in 2024. It has a mass of 12.5 Earth masses, a radius of 2.64 Earth radii, and an orbital period of 7.5 days. Its mean density is 3.74 g/cm³, 0.679 times Earth's. Both its radius and its mass are larger than Earth's, and it has the shortest year and the smallest radius among the listed planets, as well as the largest reported mass.
TOI-6054.02 is also Neptune-like and was discovered in 2024. It has a mass of 9.3 Earth masses, a radius of 2.82 Earth radii, and an orbital period of 12.6 days. Its mean density is 2.29 g/cm³, 0.415 times Earth's. Both its radius and its mass are larger than Earth's, and it has the longest year and the largest radius among the listed planets, as well as the smallest reported mass.
