TOI-5350: A Single Known Planet Around a Distant Star

TOI-5350 is a star 905 light-years away with a mass of 1.17 solar masses, a radius of 1.26 solar radii, and a temperature of 6220 K. It is 3.1 billion years old. One planet is known to orbit it.

That planet, TOI-5350 b, was discovered by transit in 2025. Its transit method watches for the small dips a planet makes when passing in front of its star. The planet is Jupiter-like, since it exceeds 4 times Earth's radius, and has a radius of 12.4 Earth radii. Its mass is 2090 Earth masses, roughly 6.59 times Jupiter's mass. Its mean density is 6.02 g/cm³, 1.09 times Earth's. It completes an orbit every 7.58 days.
