TOI-5349: A Cool Red Dwarf and Its Giant Planet

TOI-5349 is an M-type star located 614 light-years away. Its spectral type is M1+/-0.5, and it is a small, cool red dwarf. The star has an age of 9 billion years, a mass of 0.61 solar masses, a radius of 0.58 solar radii, and a temperature of 3750 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are both smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet orbits this host.

TOI-5349 b is a Jupiter-like planet discovered by the transit method in 2026. Its radius is 10.2 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's, and it exceeds 4 times Earth's radius. Its mass is 127 Earth masses, larger than Earth's. The mean density is 0.661 g/cm³, 0.12 times Earth's. It completes an orbit every 3.32 days.
