TOI-5126 is a star 523 light-years away with a spectral type of F V, a main-sequence dwarf hotter and more massive than the Sun. Its mass is 1.24 solar masses and its radius is 1.24 solar radii, both larger than the Sun's, and its temperature of 6150 K is also hotter. Its age is 0.8 billion years. Two planets are known to orbit it.
Both planets were discovered in 2023 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. TOI-5126 b is a Jupiter-like planet with an orbital period of 5.46 days and a radius of 4.74 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Among the listed planets, it has the shortest year and the largest radius. TOI-5126 c is a Neptune-like planet with an orbital period of 17.9 days and a radius of 3.86 Earth radii, also larger than Earth's. Among the listed planets, it has the longest year and the smallest radius.
