TOI-3071 is a star 1580 light-years away with an age of 0.95 billion years. Its mass is 1.29 solar masses, its radius is 1.31 solar radii, and its temperature is 6180 K. The reported mass, radius, and temperature are all larger or hotter than the Sun's. One planet orbits this host.
That planet is TOI-3071 b, a Jupiter-like world discovered in 2024 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. It completes an orbit every 1.27 days, and its radius of 7.16 Earth radii exceeds Earth's. Its mass is 68.2 Earth masses, also larger than Earth's, and its mean density is 1.02 g/cm³, 0.186 times Earth's.
