TOI-1452 and Its Super-Earth

TOI-1452 is a star 99.5 light-years from Earth with a spectral type of M4 +/- 0.5 V, placing it among the small, cool red dwarfs. Its mass is 0.249 solar masses, its radius is 0.275 solar radii, and its temperature is 3190 K. This host has one known planet.

That planet, TOI-1452 b, is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2022. It completes an orbit in 11.1 days, has a radius of 1.67 Earth radii, and a mass of 4.82 Earth masses. Its mean density is 5.68 g/cm³, 1.03 times Earth's.

The star's mass and radius are both smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler. The planet's radius and mass are both larger than Earth's.
