TOI-1062: A Sun-Like Star and Its Two Known Worlds

TOI-1062 is a G9 V star located 268 light-years away. Its spectral type marks it as a main-sequence dwarf somewhat cooler than the Sun. The star's reported mass estimate is 0.94 solar masses and its radius estimate is 0.84 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature of 5330 K is cooler than the Sun's. It is 2.5 billion years old. Two planets are known to orbit this host.

TOI-1062 b is a Super-Earth discovered by the transit method in 2021. Its reported radius estimate is 2.27 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and its mass estimate is 10.2 Earth masses, also larger than Earth's. Its mean density is 4.81 g/cm³, 0.873 times Earth's. It completes an orbit every 4.11 days.

TOI-1062 c was discovered in 2021 by the radial velocity method. Its minimum mass is 9.78 Earth masses, a lower bound on its true mass and larger than Earth's. Its orbital period is 7.97 days. Among the listed planets, TOI-1062 b has the shortest year and TOI-1062 c the longest.
