TOI-1408: A Distant Star With Two Known Worlds

TOI-1408 is a star located 455 light-years away. Its spectral type is F8 V, placing it among the hotter, more massive stars than the Sun. It has an age of 2.7 billion years, a mass of 1.31 solar masses, a radius of 1.53 solar radii, and a temperature of 6120 K. The star's reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's. Two planets are known to orbit this host.
