Kepler-939 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-939 is a star located 6830 light-years away. It has one known planet. The host star is 4.47 billion years old, with a mass of 0.88 solar masses and a radius of 0.85 solar radii. Its temperature is 5470 K, and its reported mass, radius, and temperature are all smaller or cooler than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-939 b is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-939 b orbits every 14.9 days and has a radius of 1.75 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's.
