Kepler-937 and Its Two Neptune-Like Planets

Kepler-937 is a star 5130 light-years away with two known planets. The star is 3.24 billion years old, has a mass of 1.15 solar masses and a radius of 1.22 solar radii, and its temperature is 6100 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

Both planets were discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-937 b is Neptune-like, with an orbital period of 67.7 days and a radius of 3.72 Earth radii. Kepler-937 c is also Neptune-like, with an orbital period of 153 days and a radius of 2.67 Earth radii. Both planets' reported radius estimates are larger than Earth's. Among the listed planets, Kepler-937 b has the shortest year and the largest radius, while Kepler-937 c has the longest year and the smallest radius.
