Kepler-795 b: A Super-Earth in a Two-Star System

Kepler-795 is a two-star system 1610 light-years away, and the star it is named for hosts one known planet. That host star is 6.46 billion years old, with 0.94 solar masses, 0.96 solar radii, and a temperature of 5630 K. Its reported mass estimate is smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet, Kepler-795 b, is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016, meaning it was detected when it crossed in front of its star and dimmed the starlight slightly. It orbits every 29.6 days, and its radius of 1.68 Earth radii is larger than Earth's.
