Kepler-761 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-761 is a star 2710 light-years from Earth, with an age of 4.07 billion years, a mass of 0.95 solar masses, a radius of 0.93 solar radii, and a temperature of 5710 K. One planet is known to orbit this host.

That planet is Kepler-761 b, a Super-Earth discovered by the transit method in 2016, when it was detected passing in front of its star and dimming its observed brightness. Its orbital period is 10.1 days. The planet's radius is 2.03 Earth radii, a reported radius estimate larger than Earth's.
