Kepler-69 is a G4 V star, a Sun-like main-sequence dwarf, located 2380 light-years away. Its reported mass estimate is 0.81 solar masses, smaller than the Sun's, and its radius is 0.93 solar radii. The star's temperature is 5640 K. Two planets are known to orbit this host, both discovered in 2013 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness.
Kepler-69 b is a Super-Earth with an orbital period of 13.7 days and a radius of 2.24 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Kepler-69 c is also a Super-Earth, with an orbital period of 242 days and a radius of 1.71 Earth radii, likewise larger than Earth's. A Super-Earth is a size class reaching 2.5 times Earth's radius, and these classifications compare radius alone.
Among the listed planets, Kepler-69 b has the shortest year by reported estimates at 13.7 days, while Kepler-69 c has the longest year at 242 days. Kepler-69 b also has the largest radius among the listed planets at 2.24 Earth radii, and Kepler-69 c has the smallest radius at 1.71 Earth radii.
