Kepler-467 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-467 is a star 1520 light-years away with one known planet. The star is 8.13 billion years old and has a mass of 1.05 solar masses, a radius of 1.37 solar radii, and a temperature of 5810 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are both larger than the Sun's.

The planet, Kepler-467 b, is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness, and repeated dips help establish orbital periods. Kepler-467 b orbits every 25 days and has a radius of 2.25 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's.
